Do you have a dress code?
We do not enforce a dress code, but our suggestion is smart casual.
What if I have a dietary restriction? (Vegan, vegetarian/pescatarian, gluten-free)
Our menu has several options to cater to most dietary restrictions. Please call to inquire about menu information.
Do you have a corkage fee?
Our corkage fee is $60 per bottle with a two bottle (750ml) maximum. Liquor and larger formats of wine are not allowed.
Why Do You Need My Email/Phone Number?
Most reservations at Salinas are confirmed by our reservationist the day before. If a valid email and/or phone number is not provided at the time of booking, we will have no way of contacting you to confirm your table. We do not honor reservations with incorrect phone numbers or international phone numbers. If you are an international guest, kindly provide your hotel’s phone number or valid email address.
We encourage guests to provide their email address to get restaurant updates. If you have a Hotmail account, kindly provide an alternative email as this email server does not work.
Why Was My Reservation Cancelled?
We possibly did not hear back from you regarding confirmation. If your reservation is not confirmed by 4PM the day of your reservation, the reservation system will automatically cancel it.
Why Do You Need My Credit Card With My Reservation?
We gladly accept parties of 5 or more after receiving a credit card number to secure the reservation. This also applies to guaranteed garden reservations all week. We reserve the right to apply a $30 per person charge to these reservations if it is canceled less than 24 hours of the reservation or if the party fails to show entirely.
Please be aware large party reservations (7+ guests Sundays through Thursdays and 5+ guests Fridays/Saturdays) are held with a different cancellation policy. Please refer to the credit card authorization form sent via email for details regarding large party cancellation fees.
Why Don’t You Seat Incomplete Parties?
Waiting to seat parties once they are complete helps ensure the timeliness and flow of our service. The enjoyment of our guests’ dining experience is our main concern.
Why do you have a 15-minute grace period for seating a late reservation?
Out of respect to other present guests with a reservation, we reserve the right to offer your table after 15 minutes. If you arrive with your complete party after our grace period, we will make every attempt to seat you at the next available table.

Why are parties of 7 or more required to select prix fixe menus?
Why are parties of 5 or more required to select prix fixe menus on Fri and Sat?
Salinas is an intimate restaurant, with an intimate kitchen. Selecting a prix fixe menu, prior to your reservation, allows Chef to properly prepare for your party and deliver the best dining experience possible.
Why are your prix fixe menus served family-style? We all want our own dishes.
Chef is from San Sebastian. In the Basque region of Spain, this is how he eats with his family. One of our goals is to bring the open-hearted culture of Spain to Salinas through the traditional style of presenting dishes designed for sharing.
Why aren’t all your dishes available in the party menus?
Chef customizes the menu for–and orders according to–all booked large parties. When given less than 72 hours notice, we may not be able to accommodate the inclusion of all menu items due to the availability of ingredients.
Is there another menu option for large parties?
We do offer our full, à la carte dinner menu in our tapas lounge. This area is “first come, first served,” so there is a possibility of a wait time.
